According to MobaPad, a Chinese peripheral maker, the Switch 2 will support backward compatibility with Nintendo Switch physical and digital game cards. This means that gamers can continue to enjoy their existing library of Switch games on the new console.

MobaPad also suggests that the Switch 2 Joy-Cons will feature magnetic suction technology, allowing them to attach to the console more securely. This would address a common issue with the current Joy-Cons, which can sometimes detach unintentionally during gameplay.
Additional Buttons and Functions
MobaPad claims that the new Joy-Cons will have additional buttons compared to the standard Switch controllers. These include rear buttons and an “additional function button” below the Home button on the right Joy-Con, which could expand gameplay capabilities or enhance system navigation.
