**NEET Irregularities: Postponement to Ensure Fairness and Integrity**

The much-anticipated NEET-PG exam, scheduled for Sunday, has been postponed indefinitely by the Ministry of Health amidst allegations of irregularities and malpractice. The decision was taken after careful deliberation over the ongoing controversies surrounding the exam.

Concerns and Consequences

Initial reports emerged of irregularities in the exam, prompting demands for its cancellation. The National Board of Examination (NBE) responded by removing its Director General, Subodh Kumar Singh, who faced allegations of wrongdoing. Additionally, around 1563 candidates were given grace marks due to discrepancies, necessitating a re-examination for those affected.

Ministry’s Response

In response to these concerns, the Ministry of Health has established a panel to review the exam results of the affected candidates. The decision to postpone the exam was made to ensure the integrity of the examination process and safeguard the interests of all students.

Credibility and Transparency

The postponement of the NEET-PG exam aligns with the government’s commitment to conduct fair and transparent examinations. Students who had registered for the exam can now download their hall tickets from the official website, while the rescheduled exam date will be announced soon.

Addressing Concerns

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has also raised concerns about irregularities in the NEET UG exam. The Health Ministry has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to students and emphasized its commitment to addressing these challenges.
